I chose to comment on Josh D.'s blog. He made a good point. I don't necessarily rely on anyone for income, college tuition, and other nice resources parent would be good for. Instead I resort to working full time and trying to balance it with school. I would be nice for someone to point me in the right direction without making me feel overwhelmed. I have basically forgotten everything i ever learned in high school which sucks but it happens. But, that's about it.

I think the class is touching the areas it should be. Helping freshmen learn good study habbits is great, if only it came with the fire to light under our asses too. So far I've learned the study habbits but putting them into action is an entirly different story. The areas I need help in are either the ability to understand chemistry and also to put my study habits in motion so i can focus and get good grades. college is an important thing and a hell of a lot of money to be throwing down the drain if you blow classes or fail to focus on the important things. My acedemic needs are to get the most bang for my buck, say, a teacher i can understand. I need to ualize the tutoring facilities better and make sure im, as froiland says "keeping up" I need to start reading chapters before i got to class so i can not be so unprepared for class that day. typing all this is frustrating me. im going to study chem now. tata till next blag
